I am hopeful that after this course ends that I will continue consistent meditation practice. It is not usual for me to sit and “be still” when there are a lot of things going on around me and I have learned that these are the moments that I most have to meditate mindfully. This will assist in preventing burnout and having more peace within.

As a pediatrician working in community health, I am most interested in the ACE’s topic we covered. I see a lot of traumatized children—those in foster care, group homes and I feel that there is so much value in understanding these childhood experiences and how I can begin to take care of these patients.

I have enjoyed this course immensely, so thank you Dr. Epstein—these last 10 weeks of learning, experiencing and being have been so wonderful and truly appreciated.
