Hi James, I am your mother's friend, and I have just successfully listened to your 90 mins Forum. Wow! I am over the moon. The synchronicity of this is incredible! Tessa came to my talk entitled So what is Mental Health?" on Wednesday night and told me about your series and how to get on to them. I had a few technical hitches but finally got it this afternoon and what an amazing guy that Paul Epstein is. His talk was almost word perfect for the talk I gave....I could not believe my ears!! I am so moved because I started working as a mental health therapist back in the 60s in York Clinic, Guys Hospital, London, and struggled for so many years to get my inner knowing accepted by the psychiatrists. I have always known most psychiatric illness is a soul illness, and can only be understood when we work holistically. Just before retiring from the NHS, 4 years ago, I wrote a book entitled "Holistic Therapy - Overcoming Depression and Anxiety Naturally" and to hear you wonderful young clinicians in the cutting edge of your professions in New York are talking my language has made my heart sing!!! Please forward this to Paul as I seriously want to start discussions with him about the ideas he voiced in his brief talk "Connecting the cell to the Self".
